About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Monahans High School in 1989.

I gradutated from UTPB in 2001.

Degrees and Certifications:

I am certified to teach K-8. I have BA in English.

I have an ESL certification as well. 

 

Current Position:

I have taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, and 1st grade at GRISD. 

I began teaching Kindergarten at Cullender in 2014. 

 

Previous Position:

Before I began teaching, I was a teacher’s aide at Tatom Elementary for 6 years.

I began teaching in 2001. I taught at Grandfalls Royalty ISD for 13 years.

Family Information:

I am married to Brian. We have 3 children together. My son, Brandon, is married now with 2 boys of his own. My step-daughter, Meaghan, has 5 children. My youngest, Brylee, is in High School.

Personal Information:

I enjoy being with my family. I spend most of my time outside of school going to my daughter’s events.  I enjoy attending church.
