My 42 year career as a teacher started here in Monahans.  The first 14 years I was teaching at the Special Education Building as the Early Childhood Special Ed teacher.  My ECSE class moved to Cullender in 1995 and that is when I started teaching two separate classes – a Pre-K class and an ESCE class.  I experienced twenty years of precious Pre-K students and I enjoyed their curious and fun nature.   At the end of this time I returned to only teaching ECSE as my passion is working with the special needs students.  These children are amazing and need people that are willing to look beyond the challenges to see remarkable children with many talents and terrific personalities.
